The scheme offers a £140 one-off discount to householders who meet the eligibility criteria.
The money is not paid directly to the customer, but the discount is applied to an electricity bill between October 2016 and April 2017.
Jenna McArthur, advice Centre Manager at Scarf, said: “The Warm Home Discount Scheme has offered householders a vital boost to their income for many years.
“At a time of year when financial outgoings can increase while the temperature drops, the discount can offer that extra breathing space.
“We would invite all householders to investigate the eligibility criteria and get in touch with us if they have any queries about the scheme and how to apply for it.”
